How many years will you live, more than a hundred years, and then die and move on to the afterlife? Accounting is the most important. Is it eternal hell or eternal heaven?

Literally just left the cinema. I am currently in tears still and the movie finished 10 minutes ago. I went with my sister and my mum. I feel like everyone who was in the same cinema as me should get a refund because I suffer from a disease called ‘I-cry-easily’, and I was sitting in the middle of the theatre crying and blubbering and sniffling, tears pouring down my cheeks I’m sure even Moses would have trouble parting my tears.
I was in tears to and just speechless after movie, still don't know what to say. Only thing is that I want to watch this movie again and again!

It'll be interesting to see how Bradley Cooper sounds live. He killed it in the movie, but you don't know how much or how often (or if at all) they had to auto tune some of his parts/keys he missed. Doing it live in front of a televised audience is a whole different beast. Gaga, obviously, will slay it because she's one of the most gifted voices/singers/musicians of our time. UPDATE: I just watched a featurette of him singing with his vocal coach. Yeah, he'll be fine.

I was skeptical about the film when it was released. Partly due to them casting an actor as a singer, and a singer as an actor, can be risky. Plus, remakes and all that.
I finally got to watch it last year (2024) and I have to say what a great film it is. Both Cooper and Germanotta are brilliant. They work so well together and the onscreen chemistry is so utterly convincing they fully drag you into their relationship. Genuinely, I loved the film. On so many levels.
As for this song. It's overflowing with that pain only love can bring. The acoustic chords, vocal tones, melancholic string section, everything about it. Hope. Love. Joy. Pain. Desperation. Loss. It's all there.

The performance's in this movie were incredible. If I didn't know differently I would say that were completely and utterly in love with one another. Very rarely have I seen two actors be able generate that level of raw emotion. I know there have been couple of other versions of this movie but this next level..undoubtedly the greatest love story ever on screen and I honestly don't believe it could ever be surpassed. How they didn't both get Oscars for this is completely beyond me.
