Inventory is looking pretty healthy on the lot, Neill!!!!👍
I've compared many RTV's for what I want... Keep coming back to the RTV-X. Glad I waited for an update.
For those pushing the mini-truck, it all depends on your use. No way a mini-truck is getting around the places we need to go. Plus we prefer the open station with roof and windshield as it gets used for spraying fence lines from the seat or cactus where you are constantly in/out.
They all are high priced but there’s no way we get work done as efficiently without the UTV. I have the diesel Bobcat but same idea…I do like the thought of the hydro tranny. FYI-Bobcat hides their part and service fluid info (essentially Polaris mix matched) so it tough for self repairs without hours of research. Will not get another so the Kubota will be looked at when time comes.
Nice unit Neil. I really like the cab unit with heat and AC . Thanks for showing it off.
Great edits Neil!!! Keep up great job.
We have three of them. One 1100 and two of the new 1100’s. I personally prefer the oldest one due to the difference in noise level. In the newer units with the vinyl seat they seem to be much louder in the cab than the original 1100 with the cloth bench seats. They are all great machines and if something happened to any of them I would be at a dealership tomorrow.
Last spring I went to my local dealer and told them "You don't sell what I want but you probably will in a year or two." I said I wanted the new RTV-X with a factory cab, and a -5 version of the KX-040. Last fall they were able to put orders in and the machines just arrived. I'm figuring out accessories to put on the RTV and they're figuring out pricing. On the mini-ex I'm now torn between the KX-040, KX-057, and U-55, but we'll get it figured out. Thanks for the video.
I bought the RTV-X1120D last year and love it... but definitely regret not getting a cab. It always looks expensive when you go to buy, but without the cab it's far more limited in terms of when I actually use it.
I have a 2023 x1100c and love it. Only has a couple things that I dislike but overall would buy again. I was a previous can am defender owner. If I had the tools/ expertise I would build an aluminum flatbed for mine with a headache rack.
Great job Neil, almost every thing I need to know about the RTV except the price and finance.
He never tells you the price of the equipment because he wants you to go to the dealership!
Prices vary from dealer to dealer, and different areas of the country....also depends on add-ons, specific model options, etc...all of which change...financing also depends on your dealer and whether or not they have deals going on.
These videos typically stay on the channel for years, so prices and models change too often to set an actual price, which might be different next week, or next month if things change, which you really never know.
Pretty cool!
Thanks for the demo.
Wish they would fix the RTV X850, even with the mod it still has a quirkey acceleration, jumping and bucky no matter how you try. The CVT spins up so fast it is rodeo time. I work mine a lot and they need a little more room to operate the accelerator with boots on, either a higher seat or set it back a couple of inches. It will cause cramping. It is a work horse but needs less bucking.
Kubota needs to chill the heck out with the prices of these things. Enclosed cab with hvac is over $30k. Insane
LOL, I guess you haven't noticed that every UTV out there has ridiculous price tags when you decide you want a cab with HVAC...the Polaris is like $32k and up LOL. I'd highly recommend a mini-truck over any of these ATV/UTV machines.
We had mini- truck company in here a few months ago. Cool stuff being road legal in some cases, but they where right with the RTV in price.
@@MessicksEquip The mini truck is much more practical in reality with a much larger bed, and payload. Manual transmission, 4WD with locker, and a cab with at a minimum a heater....some have factory AC as well, but with most UTV's all of that stuff including a cab is an additional expense, which puts it way over the $30k price tag, you can get a really nice used pickup for that kind of money LOL.
The UTV market is ridiculously over-price for no more than what they are regardless of color. The Kubota is no exception...sorry Messick's but its a fact UTV's are extremely expensive for what they are no way around it...and that's because people turned the ATV/UTV world into a toy world rather than the original intent of both which was for farmers and ranchers for utility use, not flying down the road in them.
@@MessicksEquip I totally agree. Mini truck is the way to go all day. Bigger bed too.
Boy Northern Snow sure like their Kubota tractors. I think there up to 40 of them moving rear snow blowers
Its St Patricks day here in Ireland so Happy Paddy's Day all the way from Ireland
Neil, has Kubota addressed HVAC issues? I work for Kent County Wastewater in Delaware. Our department as well as the Parks department have these things. Park's has a 2018, and we have a 2022 model. HVAC on them always breaks and costs us hundreds in repairs at our local Kubota dealership. Whatever cable moves the defrost to panel and then to floor is junk. Please post a hands-on on video with one of your technicians with the dash apart doing a repair sometime. Has Messicks seen alot of HVAC issues? The parts break downown under the dash, the picture looks very complicated! Overall these are built heavy duty and last forever. The weak point of the cab model is HVAC. I would greatly appreciate a repair video in the future. Would love seeing one of your technicians work magic. Thank you for all your videos! 🙂
I can't say I've heard of that being a common issue. Its a pretty mature product at this point.
I just picked up a 2018 machine and the cable jumped off too. It was a pretty easy fix to put it back on
A way to prop the bed sides up level with bed to allow more support on extra wide cargo would be a nice add on feature.
Kubota needs to soundproof it a bunch more
The new one is much quieter
5 db quieter than the old version, quietest in its class bow
Have 6 RTV one has 10k hrs , just universals other than that no problems, oh some rust !
A Dixie horn a little more speed, you could have Duke's Of Hazard that roll off!!
I put a Dixie horn on my kids side-by-side. Its a hoot.
Can you do a overview of the landpride kubota sc4060? I am considering buying but their is not much out their on them. Thanks.
I have a 2013 1100 Love the Machine very reliable and rugged. This sounds trivial but they need to put a digital clock in the display. I would never part with my Kubota
You would think after 20+ years they'd have a clock LOL.
ang gandaa pwede pang kareraaa
How much can they tow?
Now bring down the ridiculous price or the inventory will continue to grow
My type of machine
I just purchased my RTV 1100 in February 2025 but build date is 2024. You are calling these 2025's what are they considered 2024 or 2025 for all practical purposes.
equipment goes by the year its sold. If it comes on the lot in 2023, but sells in 2025, it's considered a 2025.
EV version someday?
Hopefully not. There aren’t many chargers out in the back 40. But it’s not hard to throw a 5 gallon Jerry can full of diesel in the bed.
@ an EV version would run all day on a charge on my property, then be ready the next day.
I am sure EV products will come some day, but they have a long way to go before we feel like they are ready for mass market.
@@MessicksEquip Polaris has a nice electric side by side. Just as there are different use cases for different size tractors, there are use cases for electric drive trains today in farm use.
@@tylermacconnell217 why would you think an EV option would remove the availability of an internal combustion drivetrain?
Sorry Neil that does not look aggressive. It appears to be another Polaris knockoff. So ready to see something new and exciting on these. For example make it a Mini-Truck alternative. Street legal. Longer Bed. Leg Room.
